Darcy couldn't see the man on the other side of the table, only his muffled silhouette as tears clotted her eyes and burned pink trails down her cheeks. The gaunt man stared at her, stone-faced beneath shadows. A hand-held recorder sat beside his wrinkled hands.
He had called her a terrorist, asked who she worked for.
She shook her head.
"Terrorist? I-I'm a secretary! Just a secretary!"
