Assassin Epicness!!!

Thu Nov 19, 2009, 3:55 PM
  • Mood: Excited
  • Reading: The House of Medici by Christopher Hibbert
  • Playing: AC2 & AC: Bloodlines
As you can tell from the title I am seriously enjoying Assassin's Creed 2:, and I'm only about halfway though after 3 days of playing. This one isn't as fast paced as AC1 was, there is just so much more to do. It's hard to even know where to begin. Ubi has definatly out done themselves with this one.:la: I'm simply lost for words as to even try to describe the absolute beauty of this game. I love the characters, Leonardo especially:aww:(and I swear to you his voice is the same as the Damascus Bureau leader from the first game!) I just about fell out of my chair laughing when Ezio's uncle Mario introduced himself....not sure if Nintendo should be flattered or insulted by it....but it was still funny.:XD: I was absolutely shocked after playing though Desmond's first outing outside the Animus, for those who have gotten that far you'll know what I'm talking about(note me if you wanna talk about it.)and if you haven't gotten that far, well I won't spoil it for you because I never saw it coming and would've never even thought about it until I saw it.

-------------
AC: Bloodlines is a much quicker game...if only for the fact that it's on the PSP, so there isn't a whole lot of room to make long missions. Which are pretty strait forword and don't require a lot of thought to compleat. But it still looks great on the PSP, not quite up there with God of War: Chains of Olympus, but still very nice. The controlles are a bit touchy for my liking and they've simplified them for the PSP, as it doesn't have the extra two triger buttons or the right joystick.

My only real gripe about it is that they have a different voice actor for Altair...one who gave him an Arabic accent....I like the Altair with the American accent better.:XD: If only for the fact it's the way I've come to know and love the Master Assassin.
--------------

And once again, the lovely people at my GameStop are just awesome. For the release of AC2 each GameStop got a AC2 t-shirt hoodie for the manager or which ever employee wanted it. But the manager at the store I visit isn't as big a fan of AC and the hoodie wasn't her thing sooooooooooo....she gave it to me!:woohoo:.....They've been so nice to me, I need to do something for them....maybe find out who their favorite game character is and draw a picture for them.....

And I'm hoping to have my computer back either today or tomorrow.:D

My name is Altair. My nature is the silence of death. My thought is as the wind. My tool is the Blade of the Assassins. I am there and gone like a flash of lightning across a stormy sky. No man is a match for me. I am the agent of change.
